DAY 6 - F

Ummm, it says it all in the title!

I thought I would write this a bit earlier today (even though Jordyn is up from her nap jumping in her crib) because tonight I will surely be home late and a bit tipsy.

A small group of us girls from the neighbourhood have started to organize wine nights (ladies only, of course) that are a different wine category each time. Tonight is Cabernet Sauvignon and we each bring a bottle. Then we complete a blind taste test and the bottle that gets the most votes wins a prize. The host (which rotates) purchases a small <$20 gift for the winner beforehand. We all bring an appy or dessert and I am bringing a baked brie with honey, some crackers, olive tapenade and pesto hummus - all store-bought, of course! I will let you know how it goes! It's a nice way to get together and invite friends and even meet some new women! And since the hubs are babysitting and doing bedtime routines tonight, we ladies will let our hair down and then probably talk a lot about our kids...lol! But, hey...we deserve to, right?!

What do you guys do when you're out with your girlfriends/guyfriends or just during an evening without the babies?

Oh, and I made some awesome Monster Muffins (not F-related, I know) today. I had heaps of spinach I needed to use up and this is a great idea. Healthy, full of iron, fibre and love! Jordyn ate 4 of them straight out of the oven! I'll link the recipe here.
