Finally, I'm blogging!

Hello friends and family!

So here I am, writing a blog. I have been wanting to do this for quite some time now however, it was all about timing, and the daunting task of actually picking a site and designing it. For days, I've had some 'writer's block', so-to-speak, on what to write for my first post! Well, why not write about what I'm going to write about?

With this blog, I hope to share with you a few of my interests, such as, travelling (for those who know me (and my hubby), we love to travel), we also love to eat. I have eaten some of the most exotic foods out there, from turtles, bats blood, snake to frogs and cow tongue, just to mention a few! Other than food and travel, why not throw some language-y things in there? I am a Linguistics graduate from UBC Vancouver and love, love, love anything linguistic-y! So don't be suprised to see any articles of language ideologies or me pondering some sort of language phenomenon that I've experienced - and feel free to comment too!
